2011 is the European Year of volunteering.
Involving young people, in particular those with fewer opportunities, from difficult backgrounds or at risk of social exclusion, is a major challenge for NGOs and voluntary service organizations.
Aim of the seminar is to provide youth and social workers and volunteers with new tools to foster participation and participative methodologies.
Through the use of laughs and laughterapy as tool for breaking barriers among people, participants will be trained on how to foster active participation and consensus methodologies for youth.
Participants will have also the possibility to share their experience in order to be able to draft new projects based on this new approach.
Financial conditions:
70% of travel costs covered by Youth in Action, no fee foreseen.
Food and lodging provided during the training course.
